School Rules & Behaviour Policy

Our school rules and behaviour policy is comprehensive and involves basic respect for staff, students, property and the environment with an expectation to behave responsibly at all times.

This is achieved through classroom discussion, warnings, time outs, parent notification and in extreme cases, suspension.

We also acknowledge responsible behaviour through various means.

Please contact our reception staff for a copy of our full School Rule Policy or alternatively, a PDF format document can be downloaded from here.

Computer & Internet Policy

At Kangarilla Primary School our students have ready access to computers and the internet for curriculum related purposes. All students have their own folders, in which to store their work, in class networks on our computer system. These folders are monitored by school staff.

Each class has a pod of 8 to 10 computers.

Our students are not provided with individual email addresses although each class has its own email account which may be accessed with staff permission and supervision.

At the beginning of each new school year students and their parents are asked to sign a "Student Computer Use Agreement" which outlines the acceptable use of computers and the internet at Kangarilla Primary School. This may be accessed at the top of this page.
